Country Rugby League has  joined forces with the National Rugby League (NRL), New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and NSW Government to announce a historic two-year partnership, in an effort to save more lives on country roads.

 The ‘Knock-on Effect’ campaign encourages people to make smarter and safer choices behind the wheel and highlights the harrowing effects road trauma is having on local communities, especially in country NSW, where of the 384 lives lost on NSW roads in 2016, 254 people were killed on country roads.

The campaign is supported by the VB Country Origin team, who will be making special appearances in Orange and Mudgee in support of the new initiative throughout Country-City origin week.
