Round Three: Andrew Johns / Laurie Daley Cups

Round Three of Country Rugby League’s new Junior Representative Competitions – the Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups, kick-off this weekend; with matches taking place in Coffs Harbour, St Mary’s, Wagga, Wollongong and Wyong.

Round Two of the Andrew Johns Cup saw the Western Rams and Illawarra South Coast Dragons remain undefeated with the Rams scoring a big 52-0 win over Riverina and the Dragons close-out a hard-fought 20-10 win against the Panthers.

The Monaro Colts, North Coast and Newcastle Knights also claimed their first wins of the season, with victories over GSR Wests Tigers, Central Coast Roosters and Greater Northern Tigers.

The Laurie Daley Cup saw the Newcastle Knights and North Coast score comprehensive victories over Greater Northern and the Central Coast in the Northern Pool, whilst Illawarra South Coast, Monaro and Western scored close victories in the Southern Pool.
