The Outback Rugby League are seeking applications for two positions for the 2019 season.

Two volunteer positions available for next season are:

* Women’s Rugby League Coordinator
* Board Member (director) for Season 2019

Job Description – ORL Director (Board Member) Season 2019:
As a director of the Outback Rugby League you would be required to possess/display the following values/ skills:
• Attend and contribute to meetings and decision making of the Outback Rugby League Board;
• Impartiality; – making decisions aimed to benefit the League, not any individual club;
• Play an active role in helping the League meet its goals and objectives;
• Have the ability to think laterally;
• Have good communication skills;
• Have a background in rugby league and/or other sports or business administration;
• Be ethical, honest and trustworthy.
This position is a volunteer role. It is possible any successful applicant may be compensated for expenses that could arise (dependent on circumstances).

Job Description – ORL Women’s Rugby League Coordinator Season 2019:

Key duties:
• Be the main contact point for proposed 2019 ORL Women’s Rugby League competition.
• Assist and support ORL Women’s teams with governance requirements if required.
• Register ORL Women’s Rugby League players and keep a record of contact details on both Sports TG platform and email (with support from CRL/ORL staff).
• Promote Women’s Rugby League throughout the ORL Region across local media outlets.
• Develop a strong rapport with ORL Board Members.
• Offer strategy/development ideas/opportunities to build the women’s game in the ORL.
• Be available to attend ORL women’s competition matches periodically.
• Preferably based in Broken Hill, but applicants from all ORL communities are welcome to apply.
This position is a volunteer role. It is possible any successful applicant may be compensated for expenses that could arise (dependent on circumstances).
