The Cudgen Hornets are seeking expressions of interest from players to join the club for the upcoming 2018 season. They are interested in recruiting players in all positions, with a stronger focus on front rowers, back rowers and centres. Cudgen field under 18’s, Reserve Grade and First Grade Teams and play in the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League (NRRRL) Competition on the Far North Coast of NSW.

Cudgen have experienced success in recent seasons with two grand final appearances in first grade, one premiership, one grand final appearance in reserve grade and one grand final appearance in under 18’s.

The Hornets have a host of impressive sponsors in place for the 2018 season and are backed by the Cudgen Leagues Club. The Leagues Club is co-located with their home ground and the club is heavily supported in the community. The Hornets have a positive off-field culture and are looking forward to another successful season.

Given the proximity to the Gold Coast there is an established rugby league pathway to play at both a semi-professional and professional level.

Cudgen is situated next to Kingscliff, just south of the Gold Coast. Kingscliff is a vibrant, small coastal town on the beach with plenty of contemporary eateries and coffee shops combined with a range of leisure activities such as fishing, snorkelling and swimming. There are many employment opportunities both in the Kingscliff area and further up the coast for labourers, tradesman and professionals.

If you are interested in joining this proud and progressive Country Rugby League Club, please send a playing resume and video highlights to patrick_rosser@hotmail.com. Please include your contact details and a brief outline about your strengths as a player so that you can be considered.
