European Rugby League, Sightseeing and ANZAC memorial tours

Updated: May 17, 2019

Catalan Sport Tours is a specialist, Australian owned and Europe based, Rugby League tour operator.  In October 2018 we had the great pleasure of hosting the CRL Tweed Byron Group 18 U15s team on their trip of a lifetime to France, Spain and to the UK.

We aim to give young Australians the opportunity to experience a different lifestyle, culture and sporting environment.  Tough games of rugby league against local opposition are combined with visiting some of the fantastic tourist attractions of Europe.  Recent tours have included behind the scenes at Wembley Stadium, climbing the Eiffel Tower, and the magnificent Sagrada Famillia in Barcelona.

We also seek to show our young people something of what their forefathers experienced in the First World War, and have expert guided tours of the Western Front including Villers Brettoneux, Fromelles and the moving Last Post Ceremony in Ypres.

Family groups are more than welcome and we can arrange parallel tours of parents / siblings with the playing group staying and travelling separately to maximise the bonding that overseas rugby touring can create.

Please have a look at the attached brochures which have a couple of suggested itineraries, alongside some kind comments from previous tourists with us.  We are proud to be the NSWRL overseas tour operator in Europe and have worked extensively with Tas Batieri.  The Indigenous Achievers group with Kari have also toured with us in the past and benefited enormously from the experience.  It is good to see youngsters from the last group now playing in the NRL.

Catalan Sports welcome the opportunity to discuss your tour if you would like to arrange a call.
