Updated: August 5, 2019

Country Rugby League is proud to announce the appointment of Daniel Tempest as League and Club Support Officer in the East Coast Region.

Tempest joins CRL with lengthy Rugby League playing, as well as coaching experience, having played for Sawtell, Orara Valley, Bellingen, Tweed Heads Seagulls and worked as a performance coach with clubs like Coffs Harbour; East Coast Regional Area Manager Kevin Hill believes Tempest’s appointment is a positive step for the region.

“Daniel’s experience in the game and his local knowledge will be an invaluable asset to the East Coast Region,” Hill said.

“Daniel’s appointment will complement our partnership with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

“Having the Bulldogs Development and Pathways Manager David Hamilton in the area will allow Daniel to work with him, as well as support the Clubs and Groups within the East Coast region.”

Tempest says he is eager to take on the new role based in Coffs Harbour.

“I am excited to get into it and help North Coast Rugby League prosper,” Tempest said.

“I will be working within the representative pathway, working with Kevin Hill and David Hamilton and assisting with the programs in Group 2 and Group 3.”
