Country Rugby League of NSW Inc was established in 1934 and in 1994 it was incorporated as Country Rugby League of NSW Inc (“CRL”). The CRL aims to endorse, administrate, manage Rugby League and play a key role in transforming the game to become the most popular participated team sport in regional New South Wales. CRL aims to do this by providing excellent services, development and educational programs to form a solid foundation to produce the future stars of the game. The CRL currently oversees approximately 52 000 registered members and 500 clubs divided into 6 regions, this accounts for all junior and senior club level competition across regional NSW. This number is expected to grow due to market trends and the continuing dedication of the massive volunteer army.
The Country Rugby League’s mission is to endorse, administrate, manage and cater for all involved with Rugby League Football throughout regional New South Wales. This is to be achieved by implementing transparent structure, allowing clear communication and awareness between all participants involved. The CRL also takes great pride in having a key involvement in nurturing the future stars of Rugby League.
CRL wish to play a key role in transforming Rugby League to become the most popular participated team sport in New South Wales. They aim to do this by providing excellent services and development program so a solid foundation is in place to produce the future stars of the game. At CRL the company motto is “Always aiming to lead by example, exceeding the expectations of players, supporters, volunteers, sponsors and the community”.
